The Professional Mediation Board of Standards (PMBS) was established with the guidance and leadership of six nationally recognized pioneers in the field of mediation. These Founding Charter Members have each played a defining role in shaping the standards, ethics, training, and professional identity of modern mediation practice. Their collective contributions form the foundation of the PMBS credentialing system and continue to influence the development of competent, ethical mediators across the United States.
